We love our bold and colorful, shape-filled new look designed by IDW Studio, and so did the SF Design Week Award Committee!
The 2022 San Francisco Design Week Awards is an international design competition seeking to encourage thought leadership by supporting designers whose works contribute towards a positive future for society. The Design Awards celebrates and recognizes exemplary work in all fields of design including architecture, interiors, industrial design, communications and user experience. Winning projects were selected by a jury comprised of distinguished professionals who reviewed submissions from an exceptionally competitive pool of applicants from all over the world including France,US, UK, Pacific Islands.
Congrats to everyone who helped bring our new brand to life. To the brilliant marketing and brand strategists and board members Patti Birbiglia, Toni Dawkins, and Lauren Kerr, and the students, families, educators, and artists who took part in all our focus groups!

ABOUT OUR LOGO FONT MARTIN
MARTIN is a non-violent typeface inspired by remnants of the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968. This typeface was designed by Tré Seals founder of Vocal, where “each typeface[they create] highlights a piece of history from a specific underrepresented race, ethnicity, or gender—from the Women’s Suffrage Movement in Argentina to the Civil Rights Movement in America.
