SIX NEW BEAUTIFUL BROADSIDES BY OAKLAND SEVENTH GRADE POETS
Chapter 510 published SIX gorgeously designed and printed BROADSIDES of poetry written by Oakland seventh grade authors who participated in Chapter 510's WHISPERING TO THE AIR workshop with poet and teaching artist Giovanna Lomanto.

This is the second year this group has been writing with us. This last year, Giovanna guided this talented group of poets through creative exercises and multimedia activities to conjure their aerated whisperings and put them to the page. Through collages, meditative journeys, and art showcases; these poems culminated into a set of published broadsides. We will welcome them back to work with Giovanna in the fall on a poetry anthology to be released next spring.
We will be featuring each poet and their broadside over the coming weeks on our Instagram so follow us to see each broadside up close. Or you can come down to the Dept. of Make / Believe Wed-Sun 11am–6pm to grab one or all!
