CHAPTER 510 RELEASES EVALUATION REPORT - ALUMS SHARE THEIR STORIES!

Dear Readers, Writers, and Champions of Learning,

More than ten years ago, we all dreamed about a place where children and teens could write in a safe environment with caring adults and be themselves. An intimate place with color, light, and laughter. Where work hard, play hard led to something joyful and confidence-building that evolved into a reliable source of power.

Today, this work has touched the lives of 5,000 primarily Black, brown, and queer youth, resulting in over 100 published books.

Many thanks to RISE Research & Evaluation. Their deep respect for youth creative practice has allowed us to examine and share our impact. This evaluation has been years in the making. With RISE’s perseverance, we can share our story with champions of learning like you.
